HONG KONG: Hong Kong stocks have risen 0.66 per cent in the first few minutes of trade following another record close on Wall Street.
Hong Kong’s benchmark Hang Seng Index added 184.16 points to 28,245.14 at the start on Monday.
In mainland China, the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 1.10 per cent, or 48.24 points, to 4,441.93.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, added 0.85 per cent, or 19.28 points, to 2,275.64.
