HONG KONG: Hong Kong dipped 0.43 percent, in line with a local sell-off following another day of losses on Wall Street as oil prices tumbled.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index slipped 103.37 points to end at 24,112.60 on turnover of HK$86.08 billion (US$11.10 billion).
In mainland China the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.40 percent, or 12.86 points, to 3,222.44 on turnover of 267.2 billion yuan ($43.1 billion).
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China s second exchange, eased 0.45 percent, or 6.51 points, to 1,445.86 on turnover of 180.0 billion yuan.
