HONG KONG: Hong Kong shares ended the morning session 0.33 percent lower Tuesday, in line with a broad regional sell-off following losses in Europe and new York on concerns about Greece’s future in the eurozone.
The Hang Seng Index slipped 90.48 points to 26,771.33 by the break, on turnover of HK$63.98 billion (US$8.26 billion).
In Shanghai, the benchmark composite index slid 1.34 percent, or 67.71 points, to 4,995.28.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, fell 1.79 percent, or 55.07 points, to 3,018.00.
