HONG KONG: Hong Kong stocks surged 0.72 percent in the morning trade on Tuesday after data showed China’s economy rose marginally more than expected in 2014.
The benchmark index added 171.83 points to 23,910.32 by the break on turnover of HK$48.88 billion (US$6.31 billion).
