HONG KONG: Hong Kong stocks jumped 0.86 per cent at the open on Thursday following a bounce back in New York and Europe in response to a pick-up in oil cost, upbeat US jobs growth and hopes of European economic easing.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index rose 202.69 points to 23,883.95.
