Huawei expects to report 2015 revenues of $60.1 bln

LONDON: Huawei expects to report full year revenues of 390 billion yuan renminbi (US$60.1 billion), a staggering year-on-year increase of more than 35%.

The news came in a letter to Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. staff from current acting CEO Guo Ping. You can read the letter here. No further financial details were given: A full audited annual report is usually issued each March.

In 2014, Huawei reported full-year revenues sales of RMB288.2 billion, a year-on-year increase of 21%. (See Huawei Profits Soar on 4G, Smartphone Sales.)

Huawei has managed to maintain high levels of revenue growth in recent years by expanding aggressively into the smartphone and enterprise technology and support services sectors, as well as expanding its carrier network sales in emerging markets and in China, where the three main operators have all been investing heavily in 4G and transport network systems.
