NEW DELHI: Huawei will introduce Honor 7 on June 30th. The photo also indicates that there may really be a fingerprint scanner as rumored earlier. Ever since the leak, people have been alert on new updates and this launch date is pretty huge for the fans.
If tracing from the historical releases of Huawei in high quality but affordable smartphones, the Huawei Honor 7 is expected to have the following features: at least 5 inches of IPS LCD display with 1080 by 1920 resolution, Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, and something strong like a High Silicon Kirin 935 processor. The RAM will be at 3 or 4 GB, and 16 GB of internet memory, expandable up to 64 GB. Rear camera may be 13 megapixels with a powerful battery of 3,280 mAh. The colors available will be black, white and gold, and all colors are metallic.
Prior to the leak on Honor 7, Huawei recently released its Huawei P8 Lite device in the U.S. in order to penetrate mainstream U.S. phone market priced at $249.99. According to GSM Arena, $599 is the expected price for the Honor 7 handset. The Ecumenical News also reports that alongside the Honor 7 is the Honor 7 Plus launch which will have a 5.5 inch screen, Quad HD display and octacore HiSilicon Kirin 930 chipset.
Huawei fans are already buzzing with excitement over these new developments. More confirmed details will be coming soon on the June 30 launch, and Weibo may occasionally leak some more information even if it’s not yet available for international consumption.
