LAHORE: The overseas Pakistanis can take investment opportunities in Punjab’s agriculture, energy, livestock and dairy development and industries sectors.
Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab Commissioner Afzaal Bhatti said this while talking to a delegation of overseas Pakistanis. He said that, on the instructions of Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, overseas Pakistanis were being encouraged to initiate new ventures in the province and all possible facilities were being provided to them.
According to a handout, he told the delegation that, to sensitise overseas Pakistanis about the investment opportunities in Punjab, OPC had so far arranged road shows in Bahrain, Qatar, Dubai, the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia. He said that complaints of overseas Pakistanis regarding government agencies of Punjab were also being addressed on priority basis, and they could contact Punjab OPC for resolution of their problems.
Afzaal Bhatti said a vigorous plan to expedite the pace of economic development was being pursued by the Punjab government.
