FAISALABAD: A team of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) claimed on Wednesday to have arrested a human smuggler from Gojra.
An FIA official said accused Niaz Rasool of Chak No 351-JB had extorted Rs 1.15 million from Muhammad Din resident of Chak No.368-JB and Muhammad Akhlaq resident of Sharif Pura Gojra for sending them to Saudi Arabia and Dubai for job.
Neither, the accused returned their money nor sent them to abroad. The FIA team headed by Sub Inspector Taimoor Haidar arrested the accused and locked him behind bars for further investigation.
