FAISALABAD: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) claimed Monday to have arrested a human trafficker for depriving a woman of Rs 225,000 in the pretext of sending her son abroad.
According to FIA sources, a complainant Sarwar Bibi submitted an application to the FIA, in which she alleged that Shahid Mehmood, resident of Chk No. 176/9L, Chichawatni received Rs 225,000 from her for sending her son to Saudi Arabia, but neither he sent her son abroad nor returned money. Taking action on the application, the FIA team arrested the accused and starte further investigation.
