BUDAPEST: Grana inaugurated a HUF 500 mln injection moulding hall at its base in Győr on Friday. Grana won a HUF 240 mln state grant for the investment, which will boost capacity by 30%. Headcount rose by 30 to 110 as a result of the expansion.
The 650 sqm hall is part of a HUF 1.2 bln investment project, launched three years ago, that has expanded the base from 3,000 sqm to 4,500 sqm. Grana managing director Péter Nagy said the company delivers mirror holders, clutch pedals and door handles to European carmakers, such as Volkswagen and Daimler.
Grana makes some 500 different parts, turning out 16 million units a year. Granaʼs annual turnover has been around net HUF 2 bln for the past two years.
