BUDAPEST: Hungarian IT company Corvus Telecom invested HUF 246 mln in a factory in its hometown of Miskolc, northeastern Hungary, where electronic display boards will be produced, the company reported on Thursday, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
The investment, which included the construction of a 1,000 sqm mechatronic research unit, an assembly plant, offices and other facilities in a former military facility, as well as the purchase of a CNC bending and laser engraving machine, was supported with a HUF 99 mln European Union and government grant.
