BUDAPEST: Producer prices in Hungary fell by an annual 1.4 percent in April, data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Tuesday show.
Prices for domestic sale dropped by 4.7 percent, while export prices edged up 0.2 percent. In the industrial sector, prices for domestic sale fell by 4.7 percent, including a 4.8 percent decline in manufacturing prices and a 5.6 percent drop in electricity, gas and steam prices.
Industrial prices for export increased 0.2 percent, as manufacturing prices climbed 0.7 percent.
