BUDAPEST: The Hungarian unit of Swedish packaging firm Tetra Pak reported revenue of just under HUF 39.8 bln in the 2014/15 fiscal year, nearly on par with the previous year, the company said yesterday, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
Tetra Pakʼs plant, located just outside Budapest, produced 2.8 billion packages in the above-mentioned period, generating revenue of HUF 26.5 bln. Roughly 94% of its output was for the export market, while sales in Hungary reached HUF 13.3 bln. Tetra Pak currently has a headcount of 300 in Hungary.
