BUDAPEST: Trade surplus in Hungary reached €819.5 mln in June, up €361.9 mln compared to the same period a year earlier, a first reading of data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) today reveals.
KSH data suggest that exports climbed by 13.4%, reaching some €8.044 bln, while imports rose 8.9% to €7.225 bln, during the period. KSH said that the share of European Union Member States was 79% both in exports and imports.
In the first half of 2015, the trade surplus reached €4.310 bln. Exports rose 7.9% to €45.193 bln during the period. Imports increased by 5.8% to €40.883 bln.
