ALABAMA: The Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison County (HC) has promoted Lucia Cape to senior vice president (SVP)of economic development. Cape, one of the Chamber’s highly visible leaders, previously held the title of vice president of economic development.
The Chamber says Cape has played a role in recruiting several businesses to the area including Curse, Science and Engineering Services and Boeing Research and Technology Alabama.
Lucia is a seasoned expert and a ‘natural’ in the economic development arena, says Chamber board chair Rey Almodóvar, Her technical and interpersonal abilities fit perfectly as the leading economic developer for the Chamber of Commerce. Her promotion is welcomed by the Chamber staff and our volunteer board of directors.
