Hyderabad ANF recovers 20kg charas, 180 bottles of alcohol, 300 grams opium

HYDERABAD: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Hyderabad has recovered 20.8 kilograms of charas, 180 bottles of alcohol and 300 grams of opium worth Rs 1.7 million in different operations against drug peddlers in four months.

The ANF foiled a number of bids to smuggle drugs in different regions of Hyderabad including Makki Shah Road near Police Station, Fahte Chowk , Tando Mohammad Khan Road Site area, Husri Tool Plaza, Ayoub Hotel bypass, Jamshooro, Railway Station and at other places.

ANF also arrested 17 accused namely Amir Abasi , Mian Ahmeed , Mohammad Amir ,Mohammad Adil , Ghulam Mustafa Waso, Feroz, Mukhtiyar Ali, Farooqul Haq, Muhammad Ali and other following the charges of drugs dealing.

ANF Hyderabad conducted raids on the instruction of Deputy Director Nasir Aziz, which remained successful as 20.8 kg charas, 180 bottles of liquor and 300 grams of opium was held in action.

First Investigation Reports has been registered against the all accused and further investigations are underway in this regard.
