Hyderabad ASO impounds non-duty paid Toyota Land Cruiser worth Rs 17.5m

HYDERABAD: The Customs Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) Hyderabad has impounded a non-duty paid unregistered vehicle Toyota Land Cruiser ZX-V8 approximately worth Rs 17.5 million, including duty and taxes.

As per details, the ASO team, following the directions of Additional Collector Model Customs Collectorate Hyderabad, Omer Shafique, conducted raid in its jurisdictions and intercepted an unregistered vehicle near site area, Hyderabad.

However the driver could not show any documents to the customs officials on which the vehicle, Toyota Land Cruiser ZX-V8 was impounded by the authorities following the prevailing customs law.

The ASO team conducted raid under the supervision of Inspector MCC Hyderabad, Khair Muhammad Pathan.
