Hyderabad Collector Mujtaba Memon urges officials to curb smuggling

HYDERABAD: Model Customs Collectorate Hyderabad Collector Ahmad Mujtaba Memon has directed the customs officials at Sukkur Division to curb smuggling of Iranian diesel and other items.

As per the details, the MCC Hyderabad collector visited the customs’ office in Sukkur Division and Khokhrapar Railway Station.

During his two-day visit to Sukkar, Mujtaba held a meeting with the customs officials of Sukkur Davison including Additional Collector Zam Zam Aman, superintendents, deputy superintendents and anti-smuggling squad, and directed them to develop an effective strategy to curb smuggling of Iranian diesel and other items which are affecting the local markets as well as causing a huge loss to the national exchequer.

On the other hand, Collector Ahmad Mujtaba Memon along with MCC Hyderabad-I Additional Collector Riaz Ahmad Memon and Additional Collector Omar shafiq visited the customs office at Khokhrapar Station and urged the officials to facilitate the passengers.
