Hyderabad Customs earns Rs15.9m revenue through auction in H1 of FY2016-17

HYDERABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate generated Rs15.9 million through auction of seized goods during first half of financial year 2016-17.

According to details, the auction was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Collector Shahid Iqbal and in the presence of Deputy Superintendent Syed Saleem Shah, Inspector Saleem Ajmairi, Inspector Abdul Rauf Qureshi, Inspector Allauddin Kaim Khani and Hawaldar Mohammad Hussain.

These goods presented for auction were seized by Hyderabad customs in different operations and includes impounded vehicles, Iranian high speed diesel and other miscellaneous goods.

The auction of impounded vehicles and other miscellaneous goods generated Rs64,73,230 while the diesel earned Rs41,18,708 for the department.

The customs officials participated in the seizure operations includes Deputy Superintendent Sikander Akbar Panhwar, Inspector Waqar Ahmed Baig Inspector Nazim Ali, Inspector Shafi Muhammad Jamali, Inspector Shakeel Khan and Inspector Mushtaq Ali Lakho.
