IAF, PRGMEA taking sincere efforts to promote “soft image” of Pakistan

SIALKOT: Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PRGMEA) and International Apparel Federation (IAF) have started taking all out sincere efforts to promote the “soft image” of Pakistan around the globe, as the opening of IAF’s regional office at Sialkot-Pakistan has also ensured the easy access of Sialkot exporters to the European countries, the IAF member countries as well.

Central Chairman PRGMEA Ejaz A.Khokhar stated this while talking to the newsmen at his office “PRGMEA House” Sialkot here.

He said that both PRGMEA and IAF have also started important for the promotion of the value addition of the different apparel products besides ensuring the addition of several new products , saying that the knowledge based manufacturing would also be encouraged across Pakistan , as the both PRGMEA and IAF would soon hire the services of the foreign experts to develop Business-to-Business contacts between the Pakistani and European businessmen as well.

PRGMEA Central Chairman Ejaz A. Khokhar said that now the PRGMEA and IAF would also ensure the maximum participation of Pakistani exporters in the international garments fashion fairs and exhibition being held under the supervision of International Apparel Federation (IAF) in European countries.

He said that the textile, leather and sportswear industries of Pakistan would be upgraded on priority , through ensuring the early access of Pakistani exporters to the European countries, besides, opening the new vistas of business excellence.

He said that the Sialkot exporters now would also be able to explore and capture the international trade markets of IAF member European Countries including Columbia , Mexico, Portugal,  Italy and Brazil, in this regard.

He said that the IAF has also started developing a wold standard website and road map for the promotion of Pakistani business community globally, saying that the PRGMEA will soon start the membership of International Apparel Federation (IAF) for the Sialkot exporters…#

Meanwhile, ambassador of Iran in Pakistan  Mehdi Honardoost will visit Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry(SCCI) on Oct 06,2017(Friday),tomorrow.

SCCI President Zahid Latif Malik told that the Iranian Ambassador will discuss in details the matters of mutual interest with Sialkot exporters during an important meeting scheduled to be held at SCCI Auditorium here
