ICCI delegation calls on designate Governor Punjab Sardar Salim Haider

ISLAMABAD: A delegation of  Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry headed by its President Ahsan Zafar Bakhtwari called on Governor-designate Punjab Sardar Salim Haider.

On this occasion the designated Governor while hailing the services of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the welfare of the business community assured that he will play his fullest role for the resolution of problems confronting the business community of Islamabad and adjacent areas.

He also assured that he will comprehensively take forward the ICCI’s demand for the establishment of an Industrial zone in Islamabad for the promotion of businesses and investments.

It is noteworthy that earlier the President ICCI Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari apprised the Governor-designate that the existing industrial zones of  Islamabad located in I-9, I-10 and Kahuta have saturated and there is no room at all to expand them, therefore it will be appropriate to allocate a reasonable piece of land for the purpose in the jurisdiction of Punjab government to do the needful. The designated Governor promised to passionately consider the proposal.

The ICCI delegation comprised Chairman Founder Group Khalid Iqbal Malik, Secretary General United Business Group Zafar Bakhtawari, Executive members Maqsood Tabish, Rizwan Chheena, Shabbir Malik and others.
