During the exchange of visits, both sides held fruitful discussions and reaffirmed their strong resolve to work in close coordination for the promotion of a business-friendly environment in the country. They emphasized that joint advocacy by FPCCI and ICCI would play an instrumental role in addressing the challenges being faced by the business community and in promoting the collective interests of trade and industry at national and international levels.

The leadership of FPCCI and ICCI agreed that close collaboration between the two chambers is essential to tackle regulatory hurdles, high cost of doing business, and other impediments that are hampering economic growth.

FPCCI President Atif Ikram Shaikh reiterated his commitment to strengthen mutual cooperation and advocacy with the government for pro-business policies that can boost investment, encourage industrial expansion, and enhance Pakistan’s role in regional and global markets.

He added that most of the issues of the business community of Islamabad are related to the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and that both the FPCCI and the ICCI will jointly work to overcome them to make the capital city an investment friendly place in real sense for the national as well international investors.

On this occasion former Vice President FPCCI Mohammad Ejaz Abbasi, Chairman Capital Office Karim Aziz Malik, Chairman Coordination Malik Sohail Hussain, ICCI executive Board member Zulqurnain Abbasi,  former SVP Khalid Chaudhry and others were also present.
