ICCS to allocate foreign currency at official rate for imports

TEHRAN:According the latest decision of officials from Iranian ministries of industry, agriculture, and health besides the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) and Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), the Integrated Comprehensive Customs System (ICCS) would be utilized as the reference for pricing goods to be imported and allocation of foreign currency at official rate to import them.

As IRIB reported on Wednesday, simultaneous with the implementation of this decision, IRICA will activate Tariff Specification Code (TSC) on the way to encounter unruly pricing of imported goods in Iran and to provide Iranian customers with updated prices according to the latest world prices.
