IHC adjourns hearing of case filed against FBR till Dec 31

ISLAMABAD: A single bench of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday directed the petitioners against the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to submit replies if they had taken approval of their companies’ Board of Directors (BoDs) to file the cases.

IHC Judge, Justice Athar Minallah, heard the petitions and asked their counsels to inform the court about boards’ resolution if they had passed in order to filed petitions against the FBR.

The court was hearing petitions filed by Government Holding (Private) Limited, Mari Petroleum Company Limited, M/s OMV Maurice Energy Limited, M/s OMV Pakistan Exploration GMBH, Attock Oil Company Limited, M/s Rally Energy Safedkoh Limited, Pakistan Oilfields Limited, Zaver Petroleum Corporation Limited and Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL).

After issuing the directions to submit details of any of such resolutions adjourned hearing till December 31.
