IHC adjourns hearing of case filed by M/s Mol Pakistan, TF Pipes

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday adjourned the hearing of tax references involving field offices of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

Two different benches of the IHC heard the cases. Appellants, through their petitions, had challenged show cause notices issued by the Regional Tax Office and Large Taxpayers’ Unit, Islamabad, before the IHC.

Justice Aamer Farooq heard the cases filed by M/s Mol Pakistan Oil and Gas and TF Pipes. Hearing of both cases was adjourned with directives to provide documents on the cases.

M/s Mol Pakistan Oil and Gas had named LTU commissioner Inland Revenue and deputy commissioner Inland Revenue in the case.

TF Pipes Limited has named RTO commissioner, deputy commissioner Inland Revenue and commissioner appeals in the petition.

Justice Athar heard the case filed by M Sajid and he had named assistant collector customs, Torkhum Peshawar in the case. The bench adjourned hearing of the cases following counsels submission. The bench would resume cases after Eid ul Azha.
