IHC adjourns hearing of two tax references till March 17

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court on Thursday adjourned hearing of two cases challenging decisions of Customs Appellate Tribunal and Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR).

Justice Noor ul Haq N Qureshi and Justice Athar Minallah heard a tax reference filed against LTU officers and ATIR. The bench adjourned hearing of the case till third week of March. M/s Capgas Private had filed the reference.

Another Division Bench, comprising of Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb, heard the tax reference filed by M/s Shalimar Diplomatic Bonded Warehouse Islamabad against Customs Appellate Tribunal, Islamabad. After hearing arguments, the bench adjourned hearing of the case till March 17.
