IHC restricts FBR from recovering Rs 12.4m from EPTSC

ISLAMABAD: Hearing a petition carrying Federal Board of Revenue as respondent, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday restricted the board from recovering Rs 12.428 million from Egyptian Pakistani Telecommunication Service Company (Private) Limited (EPTSC).

A single bench comprising Justice Aamer Farooq also directed the Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue to decide the appellant’s stay application within 30 days in which the company had challenged the recovery notice of Rs 12.428 million along with 30 percent amount of outstanding amount.
