ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has dismissed applications of seven Customs inspectors of Model Customs Collectorate, who were demoted from their posts. The court declared this issue as a concern of the administration. These employees made Customs Collector Islamabad as party in their application and were of the view that they were promoted for their performance.

The IHC said that their demotion is the internal matter of Customs Collectorate and Court cannot interfere in it. On the other hand Customs Collector ordered all the seven officials to continue their work on present ranks and said that no departmental action will be taken against them for taking Customs into the Court.
