IHC disposes of petition filed by LTU

ISLAMABAD: A Division Bench of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday disposed of a petition filed by the Large Taxpayers Unit (LTU).

The IHC Division Bench, comprising Justice Noor-ul-Haq N Qureshi and Justice Aamer Farooq heard the petition and disposed it of after hearing arguments from both sides. The LTU had made Brig Tahir as a respondent in the petition filed through the counsel Qazi Ghulam Dastgir.

Meanwhile, an IHC division bench comprising Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Shuakat Aziz Siddiqui heard another case filed by LTU, Islamabad.

The bench adjourned hearing till last week of November. The LTU had fielded this petition against Defence Housing Authority, Islamabad through its counsel Farhat Zafar.
