IHC divisional benches will hear three tax references on Monday

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) will hear three references filed against Customs Appellate Tribunal and Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR) on Monday.

A division bench of the IHC, comprising Justice Noor-Ul-Haq N Qureshi and Justice Athar Minallah, will hear a customs reference filed by M/s United Express. The appellant had challenged the tribunal’s decision before the court. Advocate Farhat Nawaz Lodhi would contest the case on behalf of the Customs Appellate Tribunal.

Another divisional bench comprising Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqi and  Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani will hear an income tax reference filed by Muhammad Asif. This case was filed against Income Tax Appellate Tribunal Islamabad and officers of LTU, Islamabad. Justice Aamer Farooq and stice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb will hear petition filed by M/s Shifa International Hospital Limited against Custom Apellate Tribunal etc.
