IHC hears few cases during first week of October

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court’s single benches heard very few cases, including the one filed by Nokia Solutions and Networks Pakistan (Private) Limited, during the first week of October.

The IHC single bench comprising Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb heard the cases and adjourned for further arguments till October 21.

Nokia Solution and Networks Pakistan (Private) Limited had challenged a tax recovery claim amounting to Rs 3,643,291 issued by the field office of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

Nokia Solution and Networks Pakistan Private Limited had filed the case seeking restrictions for Large Taxpayers Unit, Islamabad about recovering outstanding tax amount.

Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), officers of LTU including  commissioner Inland Revenue, deputy commissioner Inland Revenue and commissioner Inland Revenue (Appeals) were made respondent in the case.
