IHC issues notice to FBR on petition fild by M/s Oracle System Pakistan Ltd

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court bench on Monday issued notices to Chairman Federal Board of Revenue in a case filed by M/S Oracle System Pakistan Limited.  IHC single bench comprising of Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb heard the case.

M/S Oracle System Pakistan Limited had filed the reference against FBRand had challenged it announcement before the court. FBR field office, Large Taxpayers Unit’s officers were also made respondent in the case.

M/S Oracle System Pakistan Limited had named others officers too in the case. Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue, LTU, Assistant Commission Inland Revenue Withholding, LTU, Commissioner Inland Revenue (Appeals), LTU, and Federal of Pakistan through the chairman of Federal Boardof Revenue (FBR) as respondent in the case.  The bench was hearing a tax matter filed in 2017.
