ISLAMABAD: A single bench of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has adjourned the hearing of a tax reference filed by Nokia Solutions and Networks Pakistan (Private) Limited.
A single bench of the IHC comprising Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb heard the cases and adjourned for further arguments till October 21.
Nokia Solutions and Networks Pakistan had challenged a tax recovery claim amounting to Rs 3,643,291 issued by field office of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
Nokia Solution and Networks Pakistan Private Limited had filed the case seeking restrictions for Large Taxpayers Unit, Islamabad about recovering outstanding tax amount.
Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), officers of LTU including commissioner Inland Revenue, deputy commissioner Inland Revenue and commissioner Inland Revenue (Appeals) were made respondent in the case.
