ISLAMABAD: A single bench of Islamabad High Court reserved decision on a tax matter submitted by M/s Pakistan Telecom Mobile Limited. Justice Aamer Farooq heard the case hearing of which was postponed for relisting. M/s Pakistan Telecom Mobile Limited had contested show cause notices issued by the field offices of Federal Board of Revenue.
According to details, M/s Pakistan Telecom Mobile Limited had challenged recovery of notice issued to it under the head of outstanding income tax by the Large Taxpayers Unit, Islamabad.
M/S Pakistan Telecom Mobile Limited had submitted the department had issued the demand for the tax year 2014 in head of income tax under provisions of Income Tax Ordinance, 2001.
Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), officers of LTU including Commissioner Inland Revenue, Commissioner Inland Revenue (Appeals) and Appellate. The bench would announce decision on the matter in coming days.
