IHC to hear petition seeking reimbursment of Rs 80 million

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court will hear a writ petition seeking reimbursement of Rs 80,000,000 (Rs 80 million) from chief commissioner, Islamabad.

IHC single bench comprising Justice Aamer Farooq would hear the petition filed by Defence Housing Authority (DHA).

In its submission, the petitioner had prayed the court to help it in regaining the said amount. The petitioner also mentioned that a similar plea was dismissed by the chief commissioner. Hence, the honorable court may decide the matter and help DHA to getting their amount back, petitioner stated.

The authority had filed petition through advocate Rashid Mehmood Sindho, stating that it had deposited the said amount in favor of chief commissioner on July, 18, 2013, which was not returned to DHA yet.
