BARCELONA: A new Ikea line of home furnishings with built-in wireless charging hotspots will help put an end to that annoyance. The new Wireless Charging collection includes bedside tables, standing lamps and end tables. You can recharge your device by simply putting it down on a disc built into each piece of furniture.

The smart furniture collection was introduced by the Scandinavian home furnishings colossal Sunday at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The designs won’t be in U.S. stores until mid-April, according to an Ikea spokeswoman. There were no immediate details on prices or which U.S. devices would be compatible.
