He presented this report before a 3-member bench of SC presided over by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Tassaduq Hussain Jillani on Wednesday.

The court inquired if he can tell action has been taken against how many total subordinate staff and officers. Court was told they included 66 officers from grade 17 to 21 and there are total 891 employees against whom action has been taken. It can take six months but we assure that court orders will be fully implemented.

The petitioner Abdul Jabbar Memon told the court that chairman Port Qasim is under political pressure and he wants to prolong the case deliberately. He prayed the court to ensure implementation of its orders.

The court remarked “contempt of court case is between the court and those who have filed petition seeking contempt of court proceedings. It is disposed of. If the petitioner thinks court’s orders are not being implemented then he can approach the court”.
