Illegal money exchange sealed, one arrested

SIALKOT: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) team raided Sarafa Market in Hafizabad and sealed a shop dealing in money exchange, being run illegally by a local trader, Aqeel.

According to FIA Deputy Director Khalid Anees, the  raid party seized Rs. 1.3 million in cash, prize bonds worth Rs. 14 million, foreign currency including Euro 9,000,  UAE dirham 6,000,  pounds sterling 400, Saudi riyal 6,000 and US dollars 130 from there. Some laptops were also taken into custory. He said the accused had been sent to jail, and further investigation was under way.
