Import 57,400 tons fertilizers: China Customs releases quickly fertilizers to support spring planting

BEIJING: It’s the most important time for spring planting in the year. Xinsha Customs House(affiliated to Huangpu Customs District), implementing the preferential policies to support agricultural development promulgated by the central government, has adopted an array of measures to make clearance easier for the fertilizer importers, which include the 7*24 hour work-at-appointment scheme, priority over customs formalities handling and speeding up clearance. Efforts made by Customs officers is a great support to the swift and efficient clearance of the imported agricultural materials.

Xinsha Port, a principal port of entry for fertilizers in Southeast China, has witnessed the import of 57,400 tons of fertilizers by far this year, a sharp increase of 238.26% year-on-year.
