Lambasting the working of TPL tracking company, the M/s Friends Logistic Pvt Limited’s Imtiaz-ul-Haq Khan said that the trawler bearing registration NoK-9171, TP Container (1×40) bearing registration No. MRKU-3685186 along with electronics and auto-parts goods went missing in March 2014.

According to the FIR registered by Imtiaz-ul-Haq Khan on March 9, 2014 with Tabba Sultan Pur Police Station, the loaded trawler set for Thokar Niaz Baig Dry Port from Port Muhammad Bin Qasim on March 7, 2014 did not reach the destination despite passage of nine months.

The FIR further stated that the transporter got last contact with the trawler driver on March 9, 2014 and after that no contact has been made yet with the driver, as his mobile was reported continuously “switched-off” since then. “The container has also Customs seal No 3526915 intact, but the container has not yet been found,” logistic representative added.

He further said that the authorities concerned of the tracking company despite several intimations and reminders have not yet taken any cohesive step in this regard. “Millions of worth electronic auto-parts goods went missing due to the incompetency and insufficient working of the authorities concerned of the tracking company,” he added.
