ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday dismissed an income tax reference filed against official of the Regional Tax Office (RTO).
A divisional bench of the IHC comprising Justice Noorul Haq Qureshi and Justice Aamer Farooq heard the reference. The bench dismissed the reference for non-prosecution.
The reference was filed by Pioneer Distributors, a Karachi based company, against commissioner of income tax. The reference was dismissed since company did not pursue the court’s proceedings in the case.
Advocate Hafiz Munawar Iqbal represented the RTO in the court in the case.
