THIRUVANANTHPAURAM: India Central Narcotics Department nabbed a woman after she tried to smuggled heroin worth Rs 4 crores to Kuwait here the other day. The woman identified as Shini Antony (40) of Thrissur and she was arrested following secret information obtained earlier.
Shini came from Kuwait on December 23. A kilo of heroin was seized from her bag while she was all set to board a flight to Kuwait. She said the stuff was obtained from the bag handed over to her by a friend. She is a lab employee in Kuwait. None of her relatives accompanied her to the airport and this raises suspicion.
