MUMBAI: In order to support domestic producers, India’s government may increase import duties on palm oil, palm olein, sunflower and cotton oils for the third time in the past few months, reports UkrAgroConsult.
As a reminder, last time India raised its customs duty on imported palm and soybean oils (to 30-40%) in November 2017. As a result, palm oil imports to the country fell to 100.161 KMT in November 2017 and 107.122 KMT in December 2017.
