HANOI: Police in Nghe An Province in central Vietnam arrested a number of suspects for questioning about the murder of an Indian business executive.
The previous night locals had found Nathu Singh’s body on the street at a spot 500 meters from the commune government office.
He carried many stab and cut wounds, and his motorbike was a few hundred meters away. Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim’s gold ring, cell phone and wallet were missing.
Police said Singh had been working for Indian mining firm Wolkem India Ltd., which has an office in the province.
