KOZHIKODE: Gold biscuits worth Rs 47 lakh were recovered in two separate seizures and one passenger was arrested by the Customs at the Calicut International Airport, Karipur, here on Monday.
Eight gold biscuits weighing 932 grams and worth Rs 25 lakh were found abandoned in the toilet of a flight which arrived here from Dubai, Customs officials said.
Later, seven gold biscuits weighing 816 grams and valued at Rs 22 lakh were recovered from Basheer of Kasaragod district who arrived by the same flight.
