Indian held for smuggling gold

AHMEDABAD: Indian Customs department has arrested a man at Sardar Vallabhbhai international airport for smuggling gold chain and necklaces worth Rs0.9 million.

Younus was carrying two gold necklaces and one gold chain in his pockets. He was held after he landed from Spicejet flight from Dubai. Younus had gone to Dubai on September 20 and was trying to sneak in gold to sell in the market during the festive season.
