NEW DELHI: Indian indirect tax revenue collection increased 7.4 percent to Rs4786.3 billion during April-February 2014-15.
A provisional statement from the ministry of finance showed that the collection in the corresponding period of last fiscal was Rs 4415.65 billion.
Customs collections increased by 8.3 percent and stood at Rs 1709.43 billion during the period under review from Rs 1579.44 billion collected during the like period of the previous fiscal.
