KATHMANDU: An Indian national has been arrested for his alleged involvement in smuggling of betel nuts on Friday.
Police said the suspect has been identified as Lal Patel (34) from Madhubani, Bihar of India, currently residing at Chandragiri Municipality-7 in Kathmandu valley. Police also seized 15 sacks of betel nuts from the van (Ba 9 Cha 4778) during the routine security check. Police said they are looking into the case.
