NEW DELHI: India’s oilmeal exports plummeted 94.3 per cent from a year ago to 13,716 tonnes in October as buyers cut purchases of expensive Indian rapeseed meal and soymeal, a trade body said.
India, a leading oilmeal exporter to southeast Asia, sold 763,113 tonnes of oilmeal in the seven months to October compared with 1.26 million tonnes in the same period last year, Mumbai-based trade body Solvent Extractors’ Association said in a statement.
